Whether you want a simple natural looking opening dance or something more choreographed, we can help you look and feel confident and natural as you open the dance floor with your first dance as man and wife. Group and private lessons available for wedding couples.
There are three options for wedding couples:
1. Join in with general dance classes in Bedfordview for 4-12 months before your wedding. This way, you will know many different dances that you can dance throughout the rest of the evening at your wedding. Also you will be so confident at dancing that your opening dance will feel really comfortable and enjoyable for you both and it will look really good. Then two months before your wedding, you can book a private lesson so that your teacher can help you perfect your opening dance. 2. Join in with a NEW BEGINNERS one month Foxtrot group course in Bedfordview Thursday evenings at 8.30 pm (R300 per person for the month). This way it is likely that you will only need one or two private lesson before your wedding, depending on the complexity of the song that you have chosen for your opening dance. Phone Maureen on 082 344 9096 to book this. The group Foxtrot course is generally held on Thursdays at 8.30 every month of the year except February, May, July, October and November and December. Do this preferably at least 3 months before your wedding.
3. Do only private lessons and work only on your opening dance. You are likely to need about 3-5 lessons, depending on how easy or complicated your dance and your song. Private lessons are R400 per couple per one hour private lesson, held in Bedfordview, Edenvale or Alberton. Please contact us here to book. Do this preferably at least 3 months before your wedding.
